Kankakee Elks Golf Club in Kankakee, Illinois is almost a speakeasy in the world of golf.  A largely untouched masterpiece that has fallen on hard times throughout it's history, only one unoriginal hole is played in today's routing.  However, the abandonded hole, a dramatic Volcano Hole designed by the famed architects Langford & Moreau, sits overgrown to the right of the new hole.  NewClub Golf's Matt Considine has engaged Jim Ryan Golf Course Design to help render the lost hole in the hopes of restoring it in the near future.
